Startup: VONA
VONA was a direct-to-consumer wellness brand centered on CBD products, developed in collaboration with Sigur Rós. It originated from a concept pitch to Warner Music for a cannabis cultivation project where music played during the growth cycle, packaged as a box set with a companion album.
When COVID-19 disrupted plans, we pivoted to VONA, launching a CBD-focused line that expanded to five countries: the US, UK, Ireland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. We developed and executed a comprehensive promotional marketing campaign that landed coverage in major publications.
Our marketing efforts secured features in Paper Magazine, Benzinga, Pitchfork, and a cover article with Buds Digest, establishing VONA as a premium wellness brand with international reach and recognition in the CBD industry.
